Star Actor, Producer leads outreach to IDPs in Douala

Cameroonian actress and Producer,  Syndy Emade through her foundation,  has reached out to at least 200 IDPs in Mabanda-Douala Thursday July 11, who have fled violence due to the separatist conflict  in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. Accompanied by 17 entertainment personalities, she has encouraged the victims, pledging her continuous support as they begin life from scratch in Douala.

Emade during the occasion sympathized and encouraged the beneficiaries, while promising to be closer to them. The widows, widowers and orphans all victims of the armed conflict received food items and basic necessities like bags of rice, gallons of vegetable oil, laundry soaps, toilet tissues, clothes, soft drinks plus a cash donation.

Two heartbreaking stories of two female victims who lost close ones and properties during fighting between government forces and separatists in their areas clearly portrayed their plight and difficulties adapting in a highly demanding city like Douala where many of them are exposed to negative influences.
